Its official, the first shipment of the latest right hand drive Ford Mustang have arrived in New Zealand and the motoring giant are set to have the Australasian launch in Hunter Valley this week. With an entry level price point of just under $55,000, driver’s have the choice of either a 2.3 litre EcoBoost petrol turbocharged engine or traditional 5-litre V8. With an outstanding 90% of purchasers electing to choose the latter and only 60 drivers choosing stick shift it makes an interesting observation on the profile of the new ‘Stang’ buyers.
